Day 40 was intense. March heat is upon us and yesterday and today we went through the hottest heatwave of the year. It isn’t as bad as 2024 but we are still in March with three months to go until my favourite Monsoon season. My day started with the usual tasks of taking progress pictures and weighing myself. I woke up a little late so I headed to the gym right away. On the way to the gym I saw paw prints on my scooter Baby. I know who the culprit is and I don’t mind. It was cute though. I spent two and a half hours at the gym. Burning around 1900 calories. I trained back and biceps at the gym.

After the workout I came home and downed two chikoos (sapote in Spanish) if you haven’t had them before I highly recommend them. They are sweet and have a nice texture like a custard apple but a little more firm. Each fruit has one or two seeds inside but it can be eaten whole like an apple. Its really hard to describe so I posted a picture.

They are seasonal here so I get them whenever I see them. Sometimes they are available off season as well but those are not that good. Surprisingly they are low in calories. Lunch was bhakri, chicken and egg curry, and French beans made Indian style.

Then I worked and in the evening I went out for my walk but work took a little more time than I expected so I went out later than usual. I had a nice swift walk. I drank the remaining of the gallon of water and then caught up on reading because I was in a rush in the morning. Day 40 was a success!

Let's hear it!
