This morning I slept in unknowingly and when I woke up my mom was already doing a headstand outside my door. She uses the living room for her yoga classes. I crept out of there with a banana in my hand and black tea. After that I caught up on my language lessons on Duolingo. Headed to the gym from there. I trained chest shoulder and triceps at the gym. I lifted heavy and surpassed my previous PR of 45 Kg to 50 Kg on the bench press. I spent around 3 hours at the gym. There was some maintenance work ongoing at the gym and it was quite noisy. But on the other hand it was empty and nobody to interrupt me. One thing I started working on today other than my workout were my adductors. I have a hypothesis that the more time I spend on them the stronger my splits and other motions will be. They are crucial for L-Sits and also for Dragon Flags. We’ll see at the end of this week if it works. I spent a good amount of time stretching after my workout to loosen up.
Headed home and had lunch- Rice and Spinach with Tofu which is a spin on Palak Paneer. I didn’t love the Tofu but it was still good. I am not a big fan of Tofu because Paneer tastes better honestly and has more nutrients comparatively. My mom wanted to try it because one of her friends recommended it and she loved it. I guess its preference at the end of the day. I will stick to my Palak Paneer please and thank you.

The grace of the meal was the dessert, now I am supposed to cut off sugar during the cut but my mom fasted the day before and she had made some Kheer as an offering to the deities that she was fasting for (not sure which one we have 330 million deities in the Hindu religion). But who am I to deny her faith and refuse the Kheer which also happens to be be one of my favourite desserts when taken in proportion. Obviously it was god sent. Thick, luscious and creamy and by god it was sweet but not too sweet. Made with milk, butter, cream, dry fruits and vermicelli; it soothed my soul and washed away all pain from the last few days of the Cut. A mini cheat meal because I had very little, around a quarter of a cup.

Went for a walk in the evening and watched Julie and Julia when I came home. Day 15 was a success!

Let's hear it!
