Day 10 of the Cut

Day 10 of the Cut

The day started with me rushing on my scooter to meet my Uncle and Aunt at the railway station. They needed help with booking a vehicle to go out of town to my Aunt’s native place in the Konkan region. When I reached there they were gone. There was some miscommunication which led to confusion. My Uncle hadn’t told me all the details and the call was unexpected this morning. I called them and they said they had managed to book a cab already and were on their way there. It wasn’t a complete waste of time I could go to the gym earlier. I trained calisthenics at the gym. My trainer let me borrow a new foam platform today for my workouts. I was practicing rolling over and falling on it so I can prepare to take more risks when doing handstand practice. Its firm but soft enough to absorb the impact when I fall. I spent the next hour on it trying out different things. After my workout I reached home and I had breakfast Poha and Papaya. After taking a break yesterday I kept my meals light today. I didn’t go out for a walk in the evening and instead chose to do some stretches at home. Day 10 was a success!

Poha is flattened rice, the dish has peas, potatoes and roasted peanuts. Its tempered like Dal but instead of garlic we use onions. Also we add, shredded fresh coconut, cilantro and lime juice as garnish but thats optional. Its all carbs so great for runners.

yup its so tasty and interesting fact- it is tradition for the girls side of the family to make it when a boy and his family visit their home to propose for arranged marriage. the girl has to make it and if its not good that marriage is a no go lol
