Day 45 of the Cut

Day 45 of the Cut

I have been so busy all day! Trained calisthenics and yoga at the gym. I found the space and the means to do it even after all the new equipment took up a lot of space at the gym.

When I came home my mom had prepped everything I needed to make Chicken Fried Rice. Its a specialty dish of mine and I consider myself a master at it. Today I made Chicken Fried Rice with Biryani Spices and I combined a technique from Indo-Chinese cuisine where I fried my vegetables and marinated chicken in shallow oil so they can be crispy and juicy before adding them to the final dish. It took some work but it was so worth it because it created a consistent crispy on the outside but QQ on the inside effect throughout the dish. For this recipe I didn’t have carrots or green onions so I just used cauliflowers and potatoes along with peas. The spice blend was immaculate thanks to my mother and I used both fresh and dry spices to bring this dish into effect. Lunch was amazing!

Worked all afternoon and then went for a walk in the evening. Day 45 was a success!

You bet! 😁 Its one thing I get real cocky about because I know I can make it good no matter what.
