I have many skills but sales isn’t one of them. I understand the basics of a sale like knowing what your customer wants and using pursuasive language to convince them to buy from you. While I am good at those things I think I fail at the end when it comes to closing the deal. I think it comes down to averages and you are likely to fail more times than you succeed but I know some people who have a natural talent for selling.

The reason I want that skill is because its so damn useful. There are so many situations where you need it like getting a girl’s number, at a job interview or even simply at a party where you need to make new connections professionally or socially. Its not easy to get someone to trust you and its even harder to maintain that trust.

I think sales can be learned. Its a skill and there is a tact unique to each new case. I think if I could learn that one skill it would help me improve my life tremendously.
