Day 69 was great! I did everything I do everyday- taking progress pictures, reading ten pages and weighing myself. At the gym I trained Chest, Shoulders and Triceps.
With 6 days left to go I am seeing the differences in my body and I have certainly gained more confidence. Since last year this will be my third go at this challenge. I think after this I will probably take a short break before I start some real fat loss through the “cut”. The first time I cut 15 kilograms. I decided that just losing fat would probably not be beneficial for me so I decided to do the challenge two more times in order to gain some muscles. Now the time has cut to start cutting the fat.
The break won’t be too long, just a few of days. I will be modifying the 75 Hard program to accommodate the cutting process and I will be documenting it as well. I intend to start cutting down calories from my current intake for a period of three months.
In the 75 Hard program there are no recovery days so I will be incorporating those in the cut. I believe it is useful in helping me gain muscle and helping my body relax after it has been through some serious stress at the gym. In terms of diet, I intend to eat whole foods consistently. Strictly home cooked meals maximum number of times. I may have to attend a wedding in May so I might eat a little bit of outside food but I will have to be super careful what I eat there. I will also be cutting out sugar and sweets. I will be eating fruits to deal with the cravings.
I want to start running as well but I believe endurance runs will cause muscle loss which won’t be helpful if I want to maintain the muscles I have put on during the bulk. Instead of endurance runs I will do sprints every day at the gym which will help me build muscles.
This is the rough plan so far. Lots of preparation to do. Lunch was chicken and rice. I worked in the afternoon and finished some important work as well. Went for a walk in the evening. Finished my gallon of water when I came back. Day 69 was a success.

Let's hear it!
