Yet another normal day. Monsoon is being elusive this year and with the ongoing heatwave and high energy bills the frustration of the people has also reached its peak. If it does not rain in the next week or so people are going to lose it.
I decided to continue life as usual and trained Chest, Shoulders and Triceps at the gym. I demonstrated new exercises related to Chest and Shoulders to some friends at the gym. One was a pec fly variation for the Chest where you rock back and forth as you do pec flys. The second was a Shoulder press variation where you use a barbell as a lever and push it into the air as though your were punching an invisible monster jumping at you. Both these variations target compound muscles and help with better muscle engagement. Upon trying it they were stoked!
My workout was phenomenal! After my workout I did stretches and I have learned that when it comes to stretching it is necessary to go where there is discomfort but it is also important to move away from pain. One example would be if you are bending down and there is an uncomfortable stiffness in the hips its probably just the muscles taking their time to adjust but if there is pain in the hips or knees or even the spine then there is a need to check your form and move so that it does not pain.

Lunch was Eggs, Potatoes and Okra. I plated it differently to make it look good and it tasted delicious too. My mom made the Okra and the Potatoes, I made the Eggs. Went for a walk in the evening. Day 57 was a success!

Let's hear it!
