A diller, a dollar, a 10 o’clock scholar!

Day 10 was a three pointer and a half (basketball reference)! I shut off my alarm last night in the hopes of waking up naturally and the plan worked. I sleep at a certain time and my body automatically wakes up seven and a half hours later. Its been like this forever and I was afraid it wouldn’t work during 75 Hard so I had begun using an alarm clock. But the blaring sounds were anxiety inducing and I decided to shut it off again. I weighed myself, took my progress pictures and then finished my reading before heading to the gym. I trained on handstands, splits and stretches to free up my body and set the tone for the rest of the week. I learned today that the gym is going to have a makeover soon and I might have to prepare for it in advance as they will shut it down for a day or two. I have backups just in case. When I came home I had eggs and my mom made Neer Dosas which taste excellent when dipped in tea or garlic chutney. Now that I think about it I should have taken a picture, maybe next time.

I worked in the afternoon and headed out for my walk in the evening. On my walk I had a decent workout but around the end I got into an impromptu race with a street car vendor. The guy was trying to one up me as I sped beside him. I was trying to go past him so as to avoid any obstacles but this guy increased his velocity. I had to jump through hoops to keep up with this guy. I admire the competitive spirit and the sheer will of pushing a cart while I lug my heavy set frame along the side walk huffing and puffing trying to go past him but the idiot should have known better. I simply wanted to steer clear of him. I won obviously. I don’t back down from a race especially if its a handicapped one. If you have never heard of One-Arm Willie, you should google him. He hated it if someone went soft on him during competition and I agree with him. Never let the opponent be at ease. If they win they will feel like they earned it and if you win you will know you didn’t let them down easy. I finished my gallon of water when I reached home. Day 10 was a success.
