Friday the 13th!

At least it will be by the time this post is released. Day 13 was amazing! By the time I headed to the gym I had finished my chores, reading, weighing in and taking my progress pictures. At the gym I trained chest, shoulders and triceps. These days I have been spending more time at the gym because I am paying a lot of attention to my workouts and also because I have been taking videos of my workouts to check form and update it on my Instagram. I spent 2 hours at the gym today and my mom was happy to have me out of the house.

Something cool happened today. The first time I did 75 Hard I lost a lot of weight and some people noticed it. One of them was a guy who has been going to the gym for years but has never seen results. The last time we met he asked me for help with losing weight and I gave him a few tips and pointers to help him see the results. This morning I met him and I saw results! He said he lost 5 Kg or around 10lbs and I was so stoked to see that! He said that now there is no turning back and I was happy to see him go for it.

Old elevator to the left, new elevator to the right.

Another cool thing that happened today. The elevator is now officially operational! After 3 months of grueling work by the people rebuilding it and bidding the old one an emotional good bye we have welcome our new elevator in the building. Everyone in the building was ecstatic and there was a great energy in the air because for three months people were huffing and puffing walking up and down the stairs in the hopes that the new elevator will bring some much needed relief. The fact is this new elevator starts a new era for the people living in this building. It might seem like a small thing but for the last fifteen years there were several technical issues with the old one and as the residents got older it was getting difficult for us to maintain the elevator. Now that the same residents have grand kids their safety had also become a priority. So this elevator brings with it a new sense of mobile passion and harmony with it. I went for my walk in the evening and finished my gallon before going for my walk. I came back home and used the elevator for the first time. It was surreal having it all to myself. Lots of memories are attached to this one event. Day 13 was a success.
