Toronto

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I have this bachelor life fantasy where I want to live my life on my own terms. When I lived in Toronto I was a sheltered kid. 19 years old when I landed there. I moved there alone for college and I met some friends there who I have made friends for life. My mentor and big brother Brad lives there and so do his pets. I actually developed my language and my personality in that city. One could say a part of me was raised there.

I am a beach person. I love the ocean and I love a beach with blue waters. While Toronto is not remotely near the ocean it has a beautiful beach on the islands. Its a clothing optional beach but I am not that bold. Some of my best memories are going there with friends and having fun. Since the beach is on a lake my eyes don’t sting when I swim in it.

There is also High Park which is so huge! Then there is the huge museum (one of many) and the large aquarium and many other places to visit. Brad used to take me to TFC games because I was his lucky charm. They never lost when I went to the game. He is superstitious like that.

The winter can be brutal but I still love it. Weed is legal. As a bachelor I can get myself a gaming console or a PC and play games on my days off. There are some incredible gyms there too. Ideally I would want one with a pool.

The food there is phenomenal! You can have food from almost any country you want. You can explore all the cuisines that you want. Poutine made fresh is my favourite snack yet!

The women there are beautiful too. I didn’t quite take the opportunity to date anyone when I lived there because I was scared shitless and didn’t know how to talk to women.

Its a great city if you can afford it. I had to leave because of COVID. I couldn’t have my visa renewed as I ended up overstaying which is a big no no for them. Mistakes were made but it taught me what to value and what I really wanted in life. My hope is still alive that one day in the future when I am fully independent I can go back and live there if the powers allow it.

The city I am living in now, Panvel, is amazing but its still a developing place. It has the potential to be as good as Toronto and part of the reason I started this website was to bring the standards on par with Toronto. Its a city full of young people and it can be a great place to live if the facilities are provided and maintained. I may not be able to go back to Toronto but I can make the place where I live right now just as good if not better. I truly believe I can make this a place to thrive. I see the culture of progress, fun and adventure. All it needs is a push in the right direction.
