Day 42 of the Cut

Day 42 of the Cut

This morning the baby across the floor had the zoomies and as soon as I walked out of our apartment it ran through the door into our home butt naked. I picked it up and handed it to its people before I walked away hearing its screams for freedom. I trained back and biceps at the gym. I have managed to cut down the times for this workout as well. Saw some new faces at the gym today and I am pretty sure I won’t see them again because I can tell if they are serious about working out or not. A lot of them join the gym on a whim and just never come back. Its a shame because if they put the time in there is so much potential. My workout was great with very little hiccups. I also managed to throw in a little bit of cardio and stretching at the end.

A plate with three golden-yellow omelets, accompanied by a bowl of mixed salad with cucumbers and tomatoes, and a side dish of vegetables or meat with a piece of cooked tuber.
Lunch- Eggs, Eggplants, Sweet Potato And Salad

Lunch was Eggs, Eggplants, Sweet Potato and Salad on the side. Dessert was Dragon Fruit and Jack Fruit. This year has been great for fruits as I have mentioned before the Dragon fruit which is almost never sweet turned out to be really sweet today. I was very impressed by it.

The Jack fruit was amazing and sweet like always and we also have Jack fruit ice-cream which is made locally at a cottage industry. In my opinion it is better than Mango ice-cream but Mango purists can get angry at that comment.

I haven’t found time for hobbies outside of work and exercises lately but I am trying to find ways. Last night I tried this app which is like a DJ set up but on the browser and it was fun to play with it for a bit. Not trying to be professional or anything just messing around to see what’s up. I can’t actually download any of the music legally so I won’t post it anywhere. Its good for improving improvisational skills though. I have zero idea of what I am doing and even then I seem to be making banger music which is funny to me because I can’t tell if its me or the app that is designed so well. Its just another one of those hobbies which could last with you forever.

Speaking of hobbies I did experiment with making a new healthier drink at home. I didn’t want to drink soda/pop or get Gatorade so I decided to make my own. We had some limes and a lot of electrolytes at home so I took some cold water from the fridge and added lime juice and electrolytes to it. Then I added fruit salts to it to get it fizzy; you can also use carbonated water (soda) for this but I didn’t have any at home so I used salts. The result was just this beautiful goodness of a satisfying drink! One glass and I was refreshed! Plus I didn’t feel like I wanted to drink more of this like I do when I drink Coke or Dew.

Went for a walk in the evening. Day 42 was a success!

Thank you! It can totally be skipped btw. You are the second person I know who can’t have soda. Another friend of mine couldn’t bear soda texture on his tongue so he didn’t drink it.
