In our vibrant community of Panvel, children have a plethora of activities to dive into, and one standout option is Karate. Held at the Karnataka Sangha Hall, these Karate classes are led by the experienced and respected Sensei Ramesh Ram. With students of all ages, the academy welcomes everyone with open arms.

The academy primarily focuses on Karate originating from Okinawa, Japan, specifically the Japan Karate Shotokai style. It’s not just any Karate school; it’s approved by the Karate Association of India, the Asian Karate Federation, the World Karate Federation, and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of the Government of India. This ensures that the training is top-notch and recognized globally.

Sensei Ramesh brings a wealth of experience to the table, boasting 26 years in martial arts training. His expertise spans Karate, Nunchaku, Kickboxing, and Boxing. Plus, his background as an ex-military man adds a layer of discipline and rigor to the training.
Every year, the academy holds belt tests, and the recent one was a grand affair. Martial arts students performed for their belt tests and exams in Karate and Kickboxing at the Karnataka Sangha Hall. Students, from Yellow Belt aspirants to those aiming for the coveted Black Belt, showcased their skills in Katas, punches, and kicks. The Sensei treats all students with respect and instills the core values of Karate and discipline in them.

The best part? The cost of joining this esteemed academy is just Rs 600 per month, and there’s no age limit. Whether you’re a young child or an adult looking to learn self-defense and discipline, this academy is the place to be.
