Day 126 of the Cut

I was right when I said I was going to feel the soreness this morning in my back after doing the extra repetitions yesterday. After pretty much pushing my bones back in place and hearing cracks all over my spine I managed to get out of bed and headed to the gym.

I trained chest, shoulders and triceps today. Another friend of mine pushed me to achieve a new PR in the declined chest press. I was stuck at 25 Kg dumbbells but now I have reached 35 Kg dumbbells. It was not easy and it really made me yell out like a gorilla but I did it with my friend’s help. Beyond that I have discovered a new and funny way to engage the glutes. The logic behind it is to use our exteriors to engage the interiors. In order to engage our shoulders and pectoral muscles we have to clench our fists. In order to do the same with our glutes we have to curl our toes! I found it so hilarious at first because it felt like magic. You can try it yourself and see what happens hehe. But in all seriousness it gives you an edge when you are stretching and bending to touch your toes and beyond. The extra grip and stability helps tremendously.

Worked all afternoon. Went for a walk in the evening. Day 126 was a success!
