My date is an 8!

My date is an 8!

Day 8 took a turn for hilarity by the end. I woke up at the usual time and took my progress picture, weighed myself and then finished my reading before going to the gym. At the gym I practiced calisthenics and skipping. The work was put in and when I reached home I was hungry so I had some papaya and yoghurt. I took yet another day off from work because I was really tired from the events of the week and took a nap. When I woke up my mother asked me what I wanted to eat for dinner since I had very little food during the day. She said there was some leftover rice and mung curry from yesterday and I said I will have that for dinner. Its light and full of fibre and some protein so dinner was going to be good! Then I headed for my walk. On my walk I put my best foot forward quite literally. I was cruising along my path and had almost no obstacles in the way. When I reached our building I still had to climb five floors because our elevator is still being built. I ran upstairs in the spirit of exercise and reached my door. My mom opened the door before I even rang the bell and asked me did you bring anything to eat for yourself? I was a little confused and she continued to say to check my phone for texts. I looked and she said she ate all the food! I was gobsmacked! I was not angry or mad or anything but the look on her face was hilarious because she was feeling guilty about it! I kept my cool and said I was on my walk and I don’t look at my phone during my walks. She said there are some eggs if I want to cook and eat them. I didn’t say much because now the ball was in my court and for the first time in my life I had leverage. I will use this leverage when and where I please (villainous laugh). Apart from the minor misunderstanding the day was great! I can’t explain the weather but its the type where it causes cold sweats. It wants to be warm but its not leaving the cold. Day 8 was a success.

you make a fair point and I did cook the eggs, but its rare to have leverage 😈
