  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. On the unbuttered side, spread the green chutney evenly.
  3. Place two of the slices on a plate buttered side down. Layer the cheese, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, capsicum, and beet on top of the slices.
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and chaat masala over the vegetables.
  5. Cover with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side out.
  6. Heat a grill pan over medium heat.
  7. Place the sandwiches on the grill pan and cook until golden brown on both sides and the cheese has melted.
  8. Cut the sandwiches into halves and serve hot with ketchup or some of that green chutney.
