After a long wait we finally got the chance to visit NJ Cafe after our initial attempt was thwarted by some renovation work. Owned and operated by Mr. Nikhil Jadhav, an MTech Mechanical Engineering student who also works at Mumbai International Airport, this cafe is his side hustle. And what a side hustle it is!

The first thing that caught our eye was the interior. The lower level is perfect for couples and individuals seeking some private time. The upper floor, newly done and lit with LED strips, looks futuristic and cozy.

The menu at NJ Cafe stood out for an unexpected reason: it was short and sweet. Unlike other cafes with pages of items, NJ Cafe keeps it simple with just a handful of options. This made ordering a breeze. We went for the vegetarian Schezwan wrap and a regular chicken wrap (featured image). Yes, they specialize in wraps—no sandwiches, burgers, or pizzas here. This unique focus made their menu stand out.

We also ordered a cup of Coke and a Sprite, each costing just Rs. 30, which was perfect for our meal. The server brought our food quickly, thanks to the limited menu. When the food arrived, the quality was evident. Made by Mr. Jadhav himself, the chicken wrap had a delicious crispy filling, and the Schezwan wrap was spicy and flavorful. The sauces accompanying them were also delicious. The drinks complemented the wraps perfectly.

We were pleasantly surprised by our visit to NJ Cafe and will definitely be back. With such a simple menu, we can try everything without worrying about the price.
