Day 61 was a smooth operation! Woke up and took my progress pictures, read ten pages and then headed to the gym. At the gym I spent around three hours. I worked back and biceps today.
There is a slight chance the gym might be closed tomorrow because it is Hanuman Jayanti which is yet another religious holiday this time dedicated to Lord Hanuman the famous Monkey God of India who is famously celibate and also famously a dedicated devotee of Lord Rama. I like some of his traits and his stories were fun to hear as kids. As an adult however, I don’t see the need for so many holidays.

If I was a boss I would be a horrible boss because I would give very few days off to my employees. Good thing is, I hire freelancers. Also the idea of religion is sketchy to me because I have not seen anything good come out of it, at least in my personal life. I don’t have a problem if anyone else is practicing religion of course because some people need religion to be stable.
My mother is highly religious and so was my father. My entire family is religious, I doubt any of the younger kids are religious yet and I won’t be surprised if they do become religious in the future. I have my principles and I steer clear of any dogma that affects my sense of freedom of expression and my way of living. I truly believe that every person has a right to live with their own convictions no matter how different they are to mine. The variety brings interesting dynamics to society and takes out the mundane from everyday life. Just with fewer holidays. Strangely I am also a strong believer of predetermination. So there might be a bit of conflict in my beliefs.

Came back from the gym had lunch which was Nachni Bhakri, Chicken Curry, Indian Style Egg Omelet, and Eggplants Sauté. Nachni or Finger Millet is a grain high in iron and we eat Bhakri(flat bread) made from its flour on occasion if we are bored of Rice flour. Its got a rustic taste and is gluten free.
Went for a walk in the evening after work. Drank the last of my gallon when I reached home. Day 61 was a success.

Let's hear it!
