Day6/75

Day6/75

It wasn’t a busy day today, I did my tasks as usual. Woke up at 6 took my progress pictures, weighed myself and then finished my reading. I was supposed to do a video shoot for a client today but I had to cancel on account of another client. Regardless I still headed to the gym before getting to work.

At the gym I did about 60 minutes of Back and Biceps exercises. After that I headed out for a swim. I swam for about 60 minutes I did not measure the distance because my friend Apurva showed up and he is still learning how to swim so I try to get him to do drills with me based on his confidence. From the pool I headed home.

At home I had an egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast. My mom also made aloo parathas(flat bread stuffed with potatoes) and matar paneer(paneer and peas) today for lunch for a change outside of our usual diet. I suppose she too gets cravings and requires change from time to time.

After breakfast I got some work done and I was able to finish the required changes for the client to create a final draft. After that I went out for a walk. I was supposed to go out earlier for the walk but my friend Apurva said he too wanted to join me so I waited for him a bit but he was stuck at the supermarket for a bit so I got a head start and ended up doing a significant amount of walking before he got there.

By the time he arrived and we walked around the park it was already 9PM and I had finished around 8500 steps already. I walked home from the park and my steps totaled to around 10400 steps meaning around 7km in distance. I don’t mind this is pretty on point for me and is actually not too far off from what I normally do.

I finished my gallon of water when I got home in fact I may have drunk a bit more than a gallon because the heat is intense right now. The day was quite normal and I was grateful for that. This morning I weighed in at around 108.8Kg compared to the previous 109.4Kg. This means I dropped nearly a kilogram overnight. Like I have said before this means I am losing water weight and is quite normal in such circumstances. With the diet I am doing and the exercises and the training for the marathon, weight loss is going to be quick. I have to prepare my body for extreme conditions if I am going to make it across the finish line. Day 6 was a success.
