When we were visiting Pune to meet relatives we went to Kavre’s Ice Cream shopin Tulsi Baug near Laxmi Road. They are famous for making their ice creams in-house and their milkshakes are also very good.

We tried the Strawberry and Mango Milkshakes and the Mango Faluda. It was Mango season then so the ice cream was made from fresh mangoes and tasted really good. My mom is from Pune and she has been going there since she was a baby. She said it used to be a small shack and she knew the original owner. It was really crowded and she said that when she was younger it was never this crowded.

You can see the machines that are making the ice-cream as you are eating the ice-cream. My mom mentioned that the quality used to be much better but now it has become commercial. Despite that I liked the ice-cream very much.
