Day 10/75

Day 10/75

Since its Diwali season the days are pretty slow. I woke up earlier than usual and took my progress photo followed by getting my reading done. I then got some work done before going for a swim. I was still tired from all the cleaning I did yesterday so I decided to skip the gym.

At the pool my friend Apurva joined me and we tried to get him to swim the length of the pool but he was struggling to do so. He is still learning to breathe while swimming. I managed to work on my drills done for 60 minutes.

After the swim I came home and ate some breakfast. Lately the diet has been within calorie limits but it is still not as healthy as I’d like it to be. My mother is in a festive mood and is cooking all the foods that she is craving. I am looking at the food like a rabid feline but I cannot eat too much of it. And that’s not the end of it, its all tasty snacks or Faral made for Diwali! I am so tempted but I have to control my impulses.

Soon I started working and continued until the evening. In the evening I headed out for my walk. I did the bare minimum today. 45 minutes to be exact. After that I had a light dinner. I finished drinking my gallon of water by the end of dinner.

I have gained 200g since yesterday. I don’t blame anyone but myself for this, this festival season is really testing me and I have to get my diet right. I am keeping my calorie intake in check but I still need to gauge the quality of the food I am eating. Day 10 was a success.
