Day 21 of the Cut

Today the heat peaked so much that the gym was hotter than the outside. The power went out again and people were sweating on the floor like ice cubes. A lot of people went home early as they were there simply there to do some cardio but the machines were down. I myself felt the heat was piercing and the sweat was unbearable because I couldn’t get a grip during my workouts. I hadn’t anticipated the heat to be so intense so I too bailed from the gym after a brief 90 minute work out covering each exercise in two sets.

I have never had context to say this and it really isn’t severe enough to say this but I have always wanted to say it because I have heard skinny people say it a lot and just so I can say it I am going to use the smallest of contexts. At the gym yesterday I did some deadlifts and this morning my glutes were sore. I have never felt my glutes before like I do right now and this soreness is a little bit of a proud moment for me and it has essentially rendered me seated for a moment. I can move but my hamstrings are also sore. So what I wanted to say was, “I pulled a hammy” XD.

Pre workout was one of those delicious mangoes and lunch was Dal, Rice and Okra. I did not have any meat because it is so hot and we usually cook meat spicy and its too hot to eat spicy food right now.

Honestly it is severely hot today so I didn’t go out for a walk instead I did some mild stretches at home. Day 21 was a success!
