Day 121 of the Cut

Its Friday and I spent my day baking Buttery Biscuits and Gooseberry(Amla) Jam. My break ends on Sunday and I had the time to spare. I have been wanting to make biscuits for a while now. It has been almost 8 years since I ate it the last time. I haven’t made them before this would be my first time. They turned out exactly as I wanted them to. Although some of them did not rise as much as I wanted but the inner texture and taste were phenomenal! I loved every bit of it. I have made jam before with strawberries and its pretty easy to make but it is time consuming. Took me around two hours to make the jam and the biscuits. The wait was worth it because the combination was fantastic! Freshly baked biscuits and freshly made jam! I was in heaven for a moment hehe. Day 121 was a restful day and it was a success!

Look at that layering!
Flaky on the inside!
Pairing with Gooseberry Jam!
First bite was flaky, buttery and sweet heavenly goodness!

I made a batch of 16, if you want the recipe for the biscuits I can share the link. As for the Jam I made my own recipe so I will share it if there is enough demand. Cheers!
