Day 34 was full of distractions. I had absolutely zero focus today. I changed my pre workout this morning from tea with milk and sugar with biscuits to just black tea and a banana which used to be my pre workout in the past. I had switched it in the last couple of weeks just for a little bit of variety. So after taking my progress pictures I headed to the gym with less energy than usual. At the gym I trained chest, shoulder and triceps but it was in total disorder. I started with inclined bench-press when I usually do that last. I fumbled the weights on the regular bench-press by either putting the wrong sized plates or miscalculating the weights on each side. Took me seven attempts to get through the chest workout. I was simply dragging through today. When I trained shoulders I accidentally did a couple of triceps workouts before I finished my shoulder exercises. It was a true mess.
When I reached home I had lunch, my mom made Neer Dosas. You will notice in the photo that there are no greens in the plate and that is because there are no greens in the market available. My mom said the vendors are not bringing any green leafy vegetables because the demand has gone down which is not a good sign for society in terms of health. We did have cauliflower and chicken in the plate and the red chutney is a dry garlic-coconut chutney which goes well with Neer Dosa. After lunch I started watching T.V. I didn’t work today I was not sure if my mind was ready for it so I decided to take a break. In the evening I went for a walk and mid walk I realised I hadn’t done my reading today. I suppose it really was a day full of fumbles. When I reached home I drank my gallon of water and then I completed my reading. I fumbled throughout the day but at the end of it all Day 34 was a success.
