Khanda Colony is bustling with cafes, each vying for attention, but Wonders Cafe stands out. We decided to check it out, and boy, were we in for a treat! The owner, Mr. Shubham Salunkhe, welcomed us warmly and guided us upstairs. The lower level is cozy, perfect for couples, but the upstairs area is where the magic happens—ideal for larger groups.

The interior is a blend of futuristic and natural elements. LED strips light up the room brightly, and wooden frames with hanging creeper plants add a touch of greenery. The brass lamps hanging from the ceiling give each table a warm, inviting glow.

We started with drinks: a fresh lime soda and a strawberry soda. Both were made in-house, not too sweet, and perfect for cleansing the palate. Next up was the WC Special Chicken Burger (pictured above) and fried chicken momos. The burger was a double patty delight with crispy exteriors and juicy insides, topped with mayonnaise. The fried chicken momos were equally impressive, paired with mayonnaise and red Schezwan garlic sauce that complemented the crispy momos perfectly.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist the Brownie Freakyshake, unique to Wonders Cafe. This massive treat came in a large jar, starting with chunks of brownies at the bottom, followed by broken chocolate wafer rolls filled with chocolate milkshake, topped with whipped cream, another wafer roll, and sprinkles. It was a deliciously indulgent “diabetes in a jar,” and though we enjoyed it, we couldn’t finish it all.

Overall, Wonders Cafe is a gem in Khanda Colony, offering a unique dining experience with its futuristic garden vibe and delicious food. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit!
