The last day is officially done. Doing 75 hard for a second time was certainly an eye opening experience. Lets see the stats:
Weight went down from 110 kilograms to 106 kilograms.
Body fat percentage went down from 37% to 32.94% based on Navy Method
Size lost overall 10 centimeters or 4 inches all over the body.
To summarise the stats, when I was inputting the data for the Navy Method I noticed there has been significant increase in muscles in the limbs and torso. Making me look lean but I feel heavy as well. . (I have not added my progress pictures because my website has a family audience[PG-13] so I can’t actually share my NSFW pictures here.)
Books read:
- The Snowball
- Art of War
- The Lean Startup
- Arthashastra
This list is phenomenal because it taught me many things. I am still reading Arthashastra but I have read 165 pages of it so far. Will try to improve on reading the next time I do 75 hard.
Impact on my lifestyle:
I wanted to reinforce the impact this program had on my level of discipline. It forced me to be consistent the first time. But it had not fully cemented at the time. I used to complain a lot about not having discipline and had no real guidance as to how I should approach the goal of weight loss. This program is not weight loss oriented but it certainly helped a lot of people improve their lives and the evidence shows it works
If there is anything I would want to change about myself after this program it has to be the diet. The fact that protein is expensive is unfortunate. But despite all of that I cannot use that as an excuse because at the end of the day I control what goes into my body and its my responsibility where I accept the food that goes in.
Would I do it again? Yes, I intend to do it again some time in January 2026. What would be different this time around? Nothing much I want to focus on performance. I am currently working on getting flexible, through splits, bridges and handstand exercises. I am also working on getting stronger through lifting heavier weights and pushing my body to the highest limit possible. I am working on gaining endurance through cardio like running and swimming. I am working on getting my diet dialed in but I have to find a way which is sustainable to my needs and the needs of my family since I am not religious but my family is and the food that we eat is greatly affected by religious interventions whether I like it or not.
In life I am working on my business and I have found a way to work on creating more content through this program which is exciting for me. I am documenting my weight loss journey and have collected several pages of information through logs and data. I am going to compile it and see what I can make of it in the future.
For the future I don’t want to think too far ahead, the end goal is to be healthy and sound of mind. That’s pretty much it. I really want to give running a serious try because it puts me in a good mood after doing it. I will see where that leads me.
I want to say thank you to all the people who read my work and gave me support through likes, comments and shares. I am grateful to all of you as my audience. In particular I want to thank Rojie, Francesco, Nia, Krishna, Rafaello, Martha and Veronique for consistently liking my work and encouraging me to do better. There are many more whose names I have not mentioned because the list is so long but you all have my gratitude! I want to thank my local gym JB Fitness and our local swimming center Sakar Swimming Pool for allowing me to use their facilities for exercise. I want to thank my friends Sagar and Apurva who were there to advice me on matters of health and well being. Most of all I want to thank my mom for bearing my antics and arguing with me everyday so I can be a better person. I appreciate the support everyone has given me and will remain forever grateful for being the community that you have been.
Day 75 was a success. 75 Hard was a success.
