Bitter Sweet 16!

Day 16 was unusual! The night before my buddy Apurva had called me to say that he wanted to go for a run and then head for a swim to the pool after that to which I said “hell yeah!” But then at 2 AM this morning he texts me that he is down with a viral fever! I too couldn’t sleep all night because my Achilles tendon was in hurting all night. Damn you Achilles!

Either way the plan had to be cancelled and instead I went for a long walk in the morning. I went around town quite literally! I went for a walk surrounding the perimeter of my town and it took me two whole hours to get it done. By the time I was home I still had to get reading done. Luckily I take progress pictures first thing I wake up. Plus the water intake was also in check. I finished my reading and then I started eating fruits and didn’t stop eating fruits until lunch.

After that I worked until the evening and I was sulking for a bit. I think it was because I was disappointed in the schedule as I was looking forward to running and swimming. In hindsight its just a minor setback. In the evening I did not want to go out again so I did yoga at home. I accomplished all the tasks so I suppose that is a win. Day 16 was a success.
